Offering a full spectrum of firearms training in Orange County, including safe gun handling, recreational shooting and armed self defense, "AllSafe Defense Systems is here to empower people to take charge of their lives," says chief instructor TJ Johnston. AllSafe Defense Systems provides a wide variety of courses, including fun and recreational shooting, to serious armed and unarmed self-defense, and NRA Instructor Certification courses. AllSafe's unique StreetSMART workouts provide personal training in everything from basic awareness, assault avoidance, full-contact street fighting, to firearms training. You choose what YOU want in a self defense program! (sorry, no kids!)

Help Make California a "shall-issue" State!

Every gun owner in California must take the initiative to circulate the petition created by Front Sight Founder Ignatius Piazza. He has spent the money to get the petition properly formatted with title and summary established by the Attorney General and will take the responsibility of submitting the completed petitions. But it is up to us as individual gun owners to download the .pdf file, print it out, sign it as a circulator, and then get our family and friends to sign it. With everybody's combined efforts, we can get the required signatures.

But time is SHORT!

Please take the initiative to get this petition to every gun shop, shooting range, and gun club. By our activism, we can actually make a difference!

Our state government is currently turning loose 36,000 dangerous felons from our state prisons. We will need the ability to defend ourselves more now than ever before. It's your life we're talking about. You and your family, while driving in your car, attending movies, picnics, everywhere you think you are safe right now will no longer be. We must create a deterrence to this onslaught of criminals who are coming for us. You need to be armed at all times. We need this initiative, and we need it now.

ATTENTION REPEAT SHOOTERS!

In light of our current government-caused economic distress, I wish to do my part by discounting 60% off any fee for any repeat shooters to the same AllSafe Instructional course. That's right! Instead of paying $100 to come back within twelve months and shoot either the AllSafe Basic or Intermediate Handgun or Shotgun or Urban Rifle course, you'll pay only $40. AllSafe Basic Handgun Schedule Change

Starting this year, I am combining the two sessions of the AllSafe Basic Handgun classes into one weekend session. The old way of splitting the classes over two days has made it difficult for folks who live a considerable distance away. Two trips to Orange, while lovely, may burn a lot of gas.

So the new start time will be 7 a.m. at AllSafe. We'll go over the same material including terminology, fundamentals, and lethal force and the laws. Then, at 9 a.m., we'll pack up our gear and head to Burro Canyon, planned ETA 10 a.m..

It means for a longer day, but only a little later (perhaps a half hour) due to the drive. So, no more evening basic classes at AllSafe. We'll combine it into one long and thoroughly enjoyable day.

Hopefully everybody will find this new schedule more better...

Burro Canyon Rain Policy

As we get into the winter months, rain--especially at Burro Canyon--becomes a factor. Because we use a substantial amount of cardboard silhouette targets, the live-fire sessions need to be cancelled (the targets begin to dissolve...).

And so, I usually drive to the location in hopes that the Lord will bless me and my class with dry weather, and to commiserate with any hearty soul who braved the elements to attend.

For any exterior class that gets rained out, each participant will be immediately invited to the next class occurrence. If the participant cannot attend at the next available date, they will be given a full refund of any pre-paid class fees.
