COURSE DESCRIPTION

The class begins with a brief overview of the modern semi-automatic rifle, including how it loads, fires, and unloads. Each student will then practice various shooting positions, including standing, sitting, kneeling, and prone. The session will conclude with live fire, beginning with zeroing the rifle at a specific distance.

After that there will be drills including snap shots at 25 and 50 yards. The class will conclude with a short competition to see who can score the highest using the skills taught.

WHAT TO BRING

All shooters must wear a hat and closed toe-shoes.
Azusa during the summer is very warm and participants should dress accordingly.
Everyone should bring a folding chair and plenty of water to drink
